Corporate Policies

The don'ts that can/will result in expulsion:

  1. No piracy
  2. No cheating. Examples: macros, botting, or buying isk/characters. -period.
  3. No griefing. (exceptions of course are war targets, as that's not griefing...that's war.)
  4. No smacktalk in local. A professional and efficient corporation has no need to do this...AT ALL.

The do's that are desired:

  1. This corp will strive at all times to work together. If there are other members online, get with them, find out what is needed (there will always be SOMETHING) and help out.
  2. There will be scheduled events. Some mandatory (team meetings) and some not (corp operations). If possible the mandatory means mandatory.
  3. Missions should be focused to achieving group goals. Working solo is fine, but we are a corp first, and solo-ists second. Members who prefer the opposite will not be a good fit.
  4. Always be kit and ready for PVP combat at the drop of a hat.  If a corp mate is in distress and you are in range to assist, you must be ready to do so.
  5. Posting in the EVE forums, whether that be in the new player areas, general, alliance, or even down in my haunting grounds (the tech forum) is a good thing as our corp ticker gets exposure. (Only, of course, if the posts are good ones.)
  6. Participation in the Meridian Forums is mandatory. This does NOT mean you have to become the uber poster or spend tons of time there, but it IS mandatory to at least check in at LEAST once every 7 days and read any corporate news, etc. Non participation in the Meridian forums can and will lead to expulsion for non-participation.
  7. Paying attention to and signing up for corporate operations via Corporate Calendar is mandatory for those times when flying online with Meridian.

Meridian is an alliance "player". In order to maintain this we need to keep up our 'rep', whether by building, fighting, or just being helpful. Even pirate corporations can and have achieved this. (Veto and Sniggerdly come to mind). We work together, learning and growing as an operation influencing the area that we operate out of. Word of mouth will gain us new recruits and older players looking to join an elite corporation.

This also leads to contacts within larger eve entities that will serve our corporate needs down the road. Always remember that while online, you are advertising for Meridian Dynamics.
